Bridget Beari Color Rule #26

Bridget Beari Color Rule:

Be Neighborly!

When picking exterior colors it is important to know what color schemes are on either side of your house. You may have a great idea for a bold color scheme but without a consistent theme your look may seem out of balance.

Love these retail spaces in spice colors. Similar color tones but different looks.

New Orleans homes work perfectly in bold colors.

More conservative row houses but the colors work well together. You don't have to select the same colors just be aware of how they interact together.

Beach Bungalows in bold fun colors!

Tip: Stop metal paint jobs from peeling... wipe down with white vinegar before painting!

Thanks This Old Home!

Happy Painting.....
