Bridget Beari Color Rule #13

Bridget Beari Color Rule:

#13

Don't forget the flooring!

Just like the ceiling in Rule #12, you can't forget to look down. You may want to paint the floor in a solid or a geometric pattern like Mary McDonald, the queen of the painted floor. It is also important to consider the floor color even if it is wood, marble or tile. The color of the floor will directly affect the wall color. I had an email the other day with a question about a wall color changing from a reddish wood floor.

I love the simplicity of the room colors with the bold painted floor.

Check out the chevron pattern below in grey and white.

Floors can also be a bold color! I love the high gloss. Perfect for Fine Paints of Europe
Hollandac brilliant!

Big Boy Blue No. 50

Sidebar: Big Boy Blue is the nickname for Baron my mix Sharpei and Pitbull. When he was little he was such a bad boy. He ate through the drywall on the walls and the vinyl flooring - all the way to the floor joist. Wild as can be but after he grew up a bit and had some training he became the best boy! He's my only boy and that is why he is my BIG BOY! He is 16 now and still my best one and only boy!

Tip: An average 84" sofa takes 20 yards of solid fabric!

Happy Painting....
