Tell me about a project or accomplishment that you consider significant in your career
Finishing a three-year project in the jungle of Tulum, Mexico. It is a piece of paradise! I am also so proud of our paint line, Bridget Beari Colors with 200 custom colors and Bridget Beari Papers, a custom wallpaper line, which is shown in Chicago, Atlanta and New York at Bradley USA.
What are the rewards from your work
Working with amazingly talented professionals from artists and architects to builders and craftsmen. You learn something different from each new person you work with on a project, no matter how large or small.
If there was a movie produced about your life – who would play you
Meryl Streep as Miranda Priestly in The Devil Wears Prada! Not in her harsh way, but because my friends tell me I am very “exacting!” Always moving from one project to the next...the ultimate multi-tasker!
Which philanthropic organizations have you been connected to
I give my time to a local non-profit arts organization called 1708 Gallery. I have helped them raise over 300k for a city-wide art project called GO Fish!
The gallery supports cutting edge contemporary artists from all over the country as well as local events that benefit schools and communities.Bridget Beari Colors, my paint line gives a percentage of sales to local animal rescue organizations. We are pretty passionate about animals…in fact, all of my products are named after beloved animals and Bridget and Beari are dogs.
