Bridget Beari Color Rule:
Add Passion with Purple
Purple has long been associated with royalty. Dyes were extracted from Mollusks to create the purple pigment therefore making it very expensive. There are 2 main types of purples: deep tints - more blue/red/yellow like aubergine and deep blue purple and light tints - more grey and pink like lavender and lilac.
The light tints create a fresh and clean look. Not always used for feminine rooms but can be made more sophisticated through the use of golds and deep contrasts.

The more grey in the purple the more subdued the intensity of the color. It
works great with white trim to create that high contrast.

The deeper colors make rooms look and feel expensive. They ooze passion and richness!
