One of my favorite houses that I helped design is being sold. I hear the new owners and their new designer are changing the colors to light blues and pinks. Such a shame! My only regret is that it did not make it into a magazine.
Check out the staircase which we totally changed from a traditional wood baluster design to a iron rail by Tom Chenoweth and limestone treads. It was a bear of a project. I think I even remember yelling at the contractor - Oh Dear! ( Me - yell - never)
The living room was spectacular with this custom Stark rug which graphically dominates the room.
The dining room has a custom Leslie Blau rug from Stark, a Holly Hunt light, and a Randolph and Hein dining table that you can't touch for fear of scratching the macassar ebony finish. This took a trip to L.A. to discuss maintenance with the factory.
Fabulous art, wallpapered ceilings, painted floors - Oh I will miss you old house!
But wait until you see the NEW HOUSE!!!

This was beautiful Brdget, but like you said, I'm sure you're looking forward to doing it all over again at your client's new house!
Thanks for the comments! I'm glad you like it.
