Working with Orange

I find I love working with the color orange. Some designers call it tangerine or melon but I love it just as orange! In this kitchen we played off the wood stained grey cabinet color. The orange window treatments make the cabinets pop. A mix of contemporary styling and traditional features make this kitchen a show stopper.



Mixing countertops from granite to wood to stainless steel help give the space interest and warmth.



Don't forget that you can vary the levels in the kitchen such as we did here with the island, desk and table.


Tumbled marble tiles mixed with marble mosaic tiles change textures from slick to bumpy. This is another way to create variety in your plans.





The client expanded the house to enlarge the kitchen. Now the kitchen flows from the foyer to the family room. A true family kitchen!
