Ceiling are not just for white

Using color to accent your ceilings adds drama to a room. Gone are the days of white ceilings or trim color that is the same as the ceiling. A colored ceiling highlights the crown molding in a room. For a very tall ceiling as the one shown here in Benjamin Moore 1049 roasted marshmallow, the carmel brown tone helps warm the room and keep the room from being too tall and lofty. Using the right tones of a color will never make the ceiling feel as if it crashing down on you. The accent color must be coordinated with the room colors so that the color envelopes the room without disrupting the feeling of the room.

Some of my favorite ceiling colors are:
Benjamin Moore 846 come sail away
Benjamin Moore 867 glacier lake
Benjamin Moore white dove
Duron 4900 echo
