First Day at HighpoInt Furniture Market

The Spring Highpoint Furniture Market has come and gone. It was a busy one - parties and seeing old friends but the best part was the fabulous finds…..

There were some new trends that stood out. Here they are…..

Wesley Hall - sheep fur with colored legs

Linen covered tables with nailheads

I was looking for a tall mirror for the Designer House - this was perfect from Jonathan Charles. Of course we stopped by the pub for a cocktail!

I loved these art piece for the walls

Natural Curiosities  - butterfly and feathers

Pigeon and Poodle  - gorgeous trashcans and bath accessories

Visual Comfort had some beautiful things by Aerin Lauder - look at these sconces!

I love the Antique and Design Center - so many things to love.

I bought these 1970's gold cocktail glasses - martini, red and white wine. Gold was big big big.

Beautiful pillows with great details

Turquoise was big too. See it here at Julian Chichester.

Multiple layers of trim was all over.

I loved meeting Mary McDonald at Chaddock. The classic lines, painted floor, trims, and classic shapes!

Beautiful trim details and fabrics at Verellen.

Check out the casual slipcover from Verellen! Beautiful linen fabrics.

Always a treat for the eye at Texture Imports! See this beautiful wood form used as a votive color. We bought a few pieces to bring home as well.

Benches

I also stumbled across these beautiful Tilton Fenwick fabrics on armless chairs at Wesley Hall. Floral prints were big this season.

Spending time with the Design Tourist from the Design Network!
Karen Le Blanc

Bold Colors!

Gold and white from Baker

Tables from Barry Dixon and Tomlinson - love the verdi and artichoke shape.

Roberta Schillings dove sculpture - perfect for our Mexico project!

This was the only the first day - Whew... what finds!

                             Stay tuned for day 2!
