Week 2 - Raw!

This will be week 2 of the raw diet. Feeling great, 4 pounds lighter, tons of energy, complexion clearer. I've been very good. Dinner at Ruth Chris for my husband's birthday and all I had was a salad. No wine either. I am caffeine, sugar, meat, and dairy free!

The birthday party today at my in-laws was hamburgers, chips, potato salad, and chocolate cake. I was prepared with my own meal: bean burgers, green salad, and raw brownies. Mine tasted great! The best thing about raw is you never have that gross full feeling - satisfied but not stuffed.

Here is the recipe for the bean burger from the Bit of Raw site. My sister in law even liked the raw brownies. She said they tasted like her power bars. Yum! They are not made with any sugar or flour!

you can dehydrate these or put them in an oven at 350 for 35 minutes to get them warm.
